Bucks Fan Gets Logo Shaved Into His Head at The Andis Foundation Event

At the Fiserv Forum during the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics game, the Milwaukee Bucks, Safe and Sound and The Andis Foundation hosted a community outreach event where a Bucks fan had the logo shaved into his hair by NBA Barber Kenny Duncan.

The event was held as a part of a series of events titled “Barbershop Mondays.”

“It was an amazing experience,” said David Farby, who graciously volunteered his hair for the event. “I’m a huge Bucks fan, and there is no better way to show allegiance than on my noggin!”

“Barbershop Mondays” are sponsored by the Milwaukee Bucks and The Andis Foundation. Young males in the Black community can get free haircuts, free food and, sometimes, a visit from some Bucks players. The events are held to provide these young men with barbershop resources and to develop positive mentor relationships.

The program is administered by Safe and Sound, a community organization in Milwaukee. “It is great to have Andis involved in the City of Milwaukee helping build connections,” said Safe & Sound Youth Program Manager Damien Smith.
